something i lowkey really respect about bernie sanders is that in spite of his (justified) convictions he's perfectly prepared to say 'ffs please vote for the lesser of two evils, it's not antithetical to fighting for something better'. i just wish everyone who shares his convictions agreed with that

#political crap #anyway if you think letting trump/the tories/whoever your local reactionaries are win is progressive actually you're a fucking idiot <3 #not to say you can't or shouldn't criticise your local non-reactionaries ofc!#but you should have a much dirtier conscience from not voting for them and letting reactionaries into power instead #than voting for non-reactionaries to keep reactionaries out and them then betraying you #because non-reactionaries doing that is a failing on their part not yours #and if you really believe reactionaries having more control over politics will radicalise people maybe google the overton window #to see which direction that radicalisation actually tends to go
